UNIT 1 - Corporate Identity
Graphic Design
In this first unit, students looked at different brands, symbols, fonts, and elements that compose a corporate identity. After choosing their type of business and creating a name for a fake company, students designed the four main products that compose its visual identity: logo, business card, envelope, and letterhead.
In addition, students were asked to apply their logo to a merchandising product.
To see their work in more detail, explore the gallery of images and descriptions of each project.
Don’t forget to leave your comment. Your feedback is very important for our students.

My logo was done for a clothing brand that sells clothes for people that like skateboarding and it will also be a mix with fashion. The type of business will be an online store.
For my corporate identity, I have created a brand called Cat's n Fish, which is a pet shop brand.. The logo is made of a tap for the "F", and a fish in an aquarium for the "I". I decided to do a pet shop brand as I like to have pets, especially cats and fishes.

For unit 1 of design, we made a company to make a logo/merchandise for. My company, "Hawthorn Productions" was a stop motion animation company, that created shorts and feature films. The target audience was children/all ages.

The business I am doing is selling surf merchandise. The target audience is obviously surfers or people that want to try out surfing. My work wasn’t inspired from any surf brand but the layout was inspired by a ski brand that I found very cool.
